His Word is a Lamp: Romans (Part Two)

Friends, NewLifers, lend me your ear on Romans!

Here are some stops from our walk through Romans on Sunday:

Rom. 7:15-23 showed us that we get in our own way in our Christian faith and growth
Rom. 7:24-8:11 showed us that Christ took our condemnation, rescued us from our sin and ourselves, and set us free in the Spirit
Rom. 8:13 By the Spirit we can put to death the deeds of the body
Rom. 8:14 All who are led by God are children of God
Rom. 8:15 We did not receive a spirit of slavery but the Spirit of Adoption
Rom. 8:16 The Spirit bears witness to us that we are God’s children
Rom. 8:18 Creation longs for the adoption of the children of God (You ain’t seen nothing yet!)
Rom. 8:26-27 The Spirit helps in our weaknesses and our prayers
Rom. 8:28 God works all things for our good and His glory!
Rom. 8:29-39 Absolutely nothing will separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord

Here’s a shorter version of the Romans Road that helps with sharing our faith:

Rom. 3:23 All have sinned
Rom. 6:23 The wages of sin is death but free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus
Rom. 5:8 Christ died for us while we were still sinners
Rom. 10:9-10 Confess with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus is Lord, and you will be saved

Let us be persuaded, let us be convinced that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us!
