Precious Promises

Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises…
2 Peter 2:4a, NIV

Do you know why God has given us His very great and precious promises? He finds us precious. Yep, we’re the reason. In His great and unparalleled wisdom, God knows that we need His promises because through them:

• We know Who He is
• We learn about His love for us
• We grasp His provision for us in Christ.

Dear friend, He knows that we need His promises because these precious promises help us cling to Him, our Heavenly Father, the Great Lover of our Souls, the One Who sent Jesus to rescue us from death, sin, and ourselves.

Start taking hold of His promises today because the sooner you do, the sooner you’ll realize that in doing so, you’re actually taking hold of Him.
