What a blessing Youth Sunday was. It never ceases to amaze me how great the youth at NewLife are. If you did not get a chance to attend the service or just want to watch again, I strongly encourage you too.

Sometimes God’s voice is thunderous, Job 37:5 and other times is in a low whisper, 1 Kings 19:10-13. It is about listening to God and not expecting God to speak in a certain way – but expecting God to speak the way He chooses to speak to us. We were reminded that there are obstacles in our lives that are barriers in hearing God’s voice. Barriers like, addictions, mental health issues, a shift in people believing in Christ amongst others. We must seek God, biblical counsel and accountability to hear God’s voice. We can’t expect to fight the obstacles alone – but in community with other Christians, and with communion with God. Noah’s closing thoughts: Sometimes this week, approach Gd with the attitude and heart that He will speak to you, but don’t limit how. Walk with an attitude of mercy, for we all have wicked stumbling blocks in our lives. Jesus forgives when we ask. NewLife let us choose to listen to God this week – to act on God’s voice – and to intentional remove stumbling blocks that are preventing us from hearing God clearly. Blessings, Pastor Kyle
